For Inflatables and Bouncy Castles
Safety First
Safety is important. with that in mind, Blissful Balloonz & Eventz reserves the right to cancel any booking on the day if the operators feel there are factors involved that could jeopardize the safety of users. All safety requirements outlined in our terms and conditions must be followed to ensure a safe and fun day. You will be asked to sign our hire agreement form below on our arrival.
All our castles comply with British Standard BS EN 14960 and are Pipa or ADiPs Compliant.
1. DELIVERY
- The hirer to provide clear access to the area where the equipment is going to be set up before and after your event
- The Hirer to secure all dogs before setup and put down
- The hirer to remove all animal droppings before setup
- The hirer is not to relocate the equipment after setup has been completed by Blissful Balloonz & Eventz staff
- The hirer is responsible for any damage to any underground services caused by setup
- The hirer is responsible for making sure any hired inflatables fit in the location they are to be setup, All measurements are listed on our website for each inflatable and if for any reason the hired inflatables do not fit or Blissful Balloonz & Eventz feels its unsafe to setup then full payment is still due.
2. OPERATION
- The Hirer will provide a person over 18 years who shall supervise the use of equipment at all times in particular, the hire shall ensure that he/she has a continuous clear and unobstructed view of the equipment and the children at all times
- That not to allow overcrowding on the castle. Only so many children are allowed on at any one time as can safely use without causing danger to themselves or others
- That larger more boisterous children are segregated to separate times from small children's
- That no person over the age specified by Blissful Balloonz & Eventz is to jump on the castle
- No jumping on to and hanging off the walls and netting of the castle
- Absolutely no climbing or sitting on the walls of the bouncy castle as this is dangerous to all users
- No attempting somersaults, wrestling, fighting, pushing or behaviour that could cause injury
- No sharp objects of any sort to be taken on or used near the bouncy castle at any time
- No eating, drinking or chewing gum while on the bouncy castle to avoid damage and/or choking No food or drink are permitted on the castle at all times
- No face paints, silly string or party poppers to be used on the bouncy castle. If any face paint, silly string or party popper is to be found on the equipment at time of collection then a charge of £200 is payable immediately (this is due to them damaging and permanently staining the equipment)
- No flammables near the bouncy castle. This includes smoking, barbeques and candles of any sort
- No animals permitted on the bouncy castle
- The entry step/or slide base are not for bouncing as users could easily fall and sustain injury, These are for entry and exit purposes only
- That the bouncy castle must not be operated at all in winds over 24mph, if it gets windy remove children from inflatable and turn power off
- If the jumping area becomes wet at any time it should not be used, any wetness including bubbling (which is normal) can be dried of with a towel
- In the event that the blower stops working, please ensure all users get off the inflatable immediately. Then check that the blower tube or deflation tube has not come undone or something has not blown onto it and is obstructing the blower
3. CLEANING
- The hirer will take responsible steps to ensure the equipment remains in a clean condition
- If something is accidentally spilt on the castle please wash off immediately with a damp cloth and soapy water
- The hirer will pay a cleaning fee of £75 if equipment is picked up in a dirty condition
4. COLLECTION
- Blissful Balloonz & Eventz is hereby authorized to enter any premises upon which the equipment may be located or thought to be located for the purpose of collection at the conclusion of hiring
- All castles must be in the same condition as when it arrived. We reserve the right to take a photo or video of the castle on your property. This is for proof reasons if the castle is picked up in an unacceptable condition
- In the event of severe weather we reserve the right to come and pack up early. Our castle must not be used in heavy rain or strong winds
5. DISCLAIMER
Blissful Balloonz & Eventz have explained the policy requirement regarding supervision of equipment to the person named below. The person/s or organization hiring this inflatable equipment will be responsible/legally liable for any damage to property or injury to any person occurring from or as a result of misuse or reckless use directly or indirectly related to the activity. These guidelines are for the safety of all people using the equipment supplied and it is the sole responsibility of the hirer to ensure they are fully adhered to at all times. Blissful Balloonz & Eventz cannot accept any responsibility or action taken for any injury caused to anyone using this equipment.
I am fully aware that I am responsible for the inflatable and any equipment hired to me. I agree to pay for any loss, damage or theft to any equipment whilst it is in my care (whether this be accidental or deliberate), This is from delivery up until the equipment has been collected by Blissful Balloonz & Eventz Staff, this will include the inflatable being returned in an unacceptable condition i.e. if it is in a dirty or muddy condition, I will be expected to pay an additional cleaning charge.

For Balloons & Equipment Hire
- All prices quoted to you are correct at the time of quotation and are valid for 14 days and we reserve the right to alter our prices after this time.
- All balloon orders require a 25% non refundable booking fee.
- All remaining balances must be paid in full by the date specified on your order confirmation (7 days prior to your event)
- Cancelled bookings may be subject to cancellation charges.
- Please note that any changes to bookings must be made in writing. We will use our reasonable endeavours to accommodate these changes however we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accept the alteration. Where the change results in an increase in the overall cost a revised invoice will be issued to you.
- Failure to pay on time may result in your order being cancelled
- In the unlikely event that we have to cancel a booking due to reasons beyond our control, we will do so in writing or by email providing you with as much notice as possible, returning any moneys paid and where possible recommend another reputable company.
- We reserve the right to alter our pricing on our literature and website at any time without prior warning.
- Please note that you have no right to cancel an order for balloons or hire Equipment once these have been delivered.
- The Goods or Equipment will be delivered by us to you on the agreed date and at the event location specified by you.
- You must ensure that at the time of agreed delivery of the Goods or Equipment adequate arrangements, including labour and access where necessary, are in place. We cannot be held liable for any damage, cost or expense incurred to the Goods, Equipment or premises where this arises as a result of a failure to provide adequate access or arrangements for delivery. An extra charge may be made by us where we spend additional time due to delays with access to the venue.
- Some balloon inflation takes place at the venue. Please ensure that there is sufficient time allocated for this at the venue and for subsequent decoration to take place.
- We will not be held responsible for balloon damage due to rare atmospheric conditions.
Balloons will oxidise in hot temperatures, this is completely normal and gives them a matte appearance, Helium expands in the heat and can sometimes cause them to pop and in colder weather helium shrinks however once inside normal room temperature the helium will expand back to normal all of these listed is completely out of our control.
- All balloon decorations and weights become your property and responsibility upon completion of the set-up with the exception of decorations that use a balloon frame or board of any type.
- Whilst the choice of colours and types of balloon for balloon displays is your responsibility, we reserve the right to make substitutions in an emergency such as in the case of a faulty batch of balloons supplied from the manufacturer.
- Care must be exercised to ensure that all decoration items are safely and securely disposed. On no account should helium balloons be inhaled or released into the atmosphere.
- Please note that the Goods supplied are not toys and are not suitable for children to use unsupervised.
- Ribbons tied to balloons may cause choking or strangulation if used incorrectly. It is your responsibility to ensure that all children are appropriately supervised when handling these items.
- As we know balloons can pop so to assure maximum life do not leave them next to a radiator or overnight in your car also keep away from sharp objects.
Equipment Hire
- The hire period shall commence and end on the dates & times specified on the Booking Form. No extension to the hire period is permitted without our express written consent and receipt by us of the appropriate charge.
- Full ownership in the Equipment shall remain fully vested in Blissful Balloonz & Eventz at all times. You have no right, title or interest in the Equipment other than that you are entitled to hire the Equipment for the hire period.
- You are responsible for the Equipment from the time we deliver the Equipment (to agreed venue location) until the time we collect the Equipment from the agreed venue location. Full risk in the Equipment shall lie with you during this time.
- You are not permitted to hire, sub-let, sell, lend, or part with possession of the Equipment at any time.
Please ensure that the venue has in place adequate insurance to cover the Equipment against fire, theft, loss or damage at all times during the hire period.
You hereby indemnify us against any losses, costs, damages or expenses that we may reasonably incur as a result of your breach of any of these Terms and Conditions.
- Loss of or Damage to the Equipment
- If the Equipment upon collection is in bad repair, damaged, unclean or defective in any way then we are entitled to retain any security deposit which may have been paid by you to repair and/or replace the Equipment. You are liable for any additional costs that we may incur in repairing, cleaning or replacing the Equipment.
- In the event that any item of Equipment is lost, stolen or damaged beyond economical repair you are liable to pay Blissful Balloonz & Eventz the cost of the replacement items as new. You will not be entitled to a refund of the security deposit in these circumstances.
- All covers and draping fabrics are laundered prior to fitting and any minor accidental staining is acceptable such as food, drink and shoe marks from guests on the bottom of the fabric. However, any damage which Blissful Balloonz & Eventz reasonably consider to be caused outside of the above such as staining foodstuffs, standing on covers, tears, rips, ink stains (drawing), burns, candle wax etc. may result in additional charges for laundering, repair or replacement.
- In the event of loss or damage in any hireable items used for your decor, the security deposit will be retained by Blissful Balloonz & Eventz and we will notify you in writing of the reasons. If the cost of replacement due to missing Equipment or damage is in excess of the security deposit, an invoice will be issued to you to cover the cost of the damaged/missing property which must be paid in accordance with the terms stated on the invoice. If the cost of replacement is less than the security deposit, the balance will be returned to you within 14 working days of the date of our assessment
- If Blissful Balloonz & Eventz are found liable for any loss or damage to you such liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the relevant services. Blissful Balloonz & Eventz exclude liability for losses that were not foreseeable to both parties when the contract was formed and losses that were not caused by any breach on our part. This limitation of liability does not apply to personal injury or death arising as a direct result of our negligence.
- Blissful Balloonz & Eventz do not accept any liability for any delays, failures, errors or omissions or loss of transmitted information, viruses or other contamination or destructive properties transmitted to you or your computer system via our website except where this has been caused by our negligence.
- Blissful Balloonz & Eventz shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing services where such failure arises as a result of any act or omission which is outside our reasonable control such as an act of god or those of third parties.
- Blissful Balloonz & Eventz cannot accept liability for any loss, damage or expense, including any direct or indirect loss such as loss of profits, to you however arising. This limitation of liability does not apply to personal injury or death arising as a direct result of our negligence.
- Blissful Balloonz & Eventz do not accept liability for any indirect loss, consequential loss, loss of data, loss of income or profit, loss of damage to property and/or loss from claims of third parties arising from the goods, equipment or services purchased from us.
- Blissful Balloonz & Eventz shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in delivering goods, equipment or services where such failure arises as a result of any act or omission which is outside our reasonable control, such as an act of god or those of third parties.
- Blissful Balloonz & Eventz shall not be liable for any misrepresentation other than fraudulent misrepresentation.
- Blissful Balloonz & Eventz may subcontract any part or parts of the Goods or Services that we provide to you from time to time and we may assign or novate any part or parts of our rights under these Terms and Conditions without your consent or any requirement to notify you.
- Blissful Balloonz & Eventz may with reasonable notice given alter or vary the Terms and Conditions at any time.
- The Terms and Conditions together with the Booking Form and payment instructions constitute the entire agreement between you and Blissful Balloonz & Eventz. No other terms whether expressed or implied shall form part of this Agreement. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Conditions and any other term or provision on the Website, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
- If any term or condition of our Agreement shall be deemed invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the parties hereby agree that such term or condition shall be deemed to be deleted and the remainder of the Agreement shall continue in force without such term or condition.
- These Terms and Conditions and our Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The parties hereto submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
- No delay or failure on our part to enforce our rights or remedies under the Agreement shall constitute a waiver on our part of such rights or remedies unless such waiver is confirmed in writing.
- It is not intended that the undertakings and obligations of the parties set out in this Agreement shall be for the benefit of and capable of being enforced by any other person by virtue of the Contracts

Cancellation Policy
Any cancellations made by Blissful Balloonz & Eventz on the run up or day of hire due to adverse weather conditions will NOT be charged any cancellation fees and will receive a full refund if already paid in advance.
- 14 days or more notice of cancellation will be chargeable at 25% of the final balance.
- 2-14 days notice of cancellation will be chargeable at 50% of the final balance.
- 48 hours notice of cancellation will be chargeable at 100% of the final balance.
- All cancellation on the day of hire will be charged at 100% of the final balance.
- All sizes and ground requirements are stated on our website, should we arrive on the day of hire and your requested items not fit in your venue or garden or the grounds be deemed unsuitable for setup. Your order will be chargeable at 100% of the final balance.
Cancellation fees are to cover any costs already laid out for your bookings such as admin, stock purchasing, organising, lost earnings from not being able to hire items elsewhere, loading up, vehicle and staffing commitments etc.
